Scanning Pension Files
Technofile have been scanning pension files for twenty years.
The first pension scheme we scanned was for Dupont in 1997, then document scanning was fairly new and we used specialised software from Zylab as PDFs were in their early stages and not yet suitable for document management.
Since then we have scanned many schemes including, Invista, Smurfit Kappa, Alcatel, Industry-Wide Coal staff Superannuation Scheme, HPG, and Alcatel.
We fully understand the importance our clients attach to the scanning of pension files.
We will collect from anywhere in the UK.
All scanning and storage of the files, whilst scanning, is carried out our premises in Tilbury to ISO standards and we adhere to strict confidentiality and data protection policies. These policies have all been audited.
We check all scanned documents twice as part of our quality control procedure. Firstly, each image is checked at the time of. If the image does not look right it will be checked against the original and, if it helps, image enhancement techniques used to improve the image. When the scanning has been completed a “thumbnail” supervisor check is made on all the images, with spot checks on random images being thoroughly checked again against the originals.
Once downloaded we write your documents to a read only CD that is logged with its unique number and the brief processes carried out from preparation to quality control, this can then be produced in court for authentication.
We update a number of schemes on a regular basis and have a number of different options for how this is done.
